Information for Suppliers to CITIC Pacific Mining Management Pty Ltd

Purchase orders

To protect both CITIC Pacific Mining Management and its suppliers, the company's purchasing policy requires that a purchase order must be issued to a supplier before any commitment to purchase goods or services is made on behalf of the company and before a supplier commences any work for CITIC Pacific Mining Management.

If you have been asked to provide goods or services to CITIC Pacific Mining Management and have not received a purchase order for those goods or services, please request a purchase order before commencing any work.

A purchase order is an authorisation for a supplier to provide goods or services to CITIC Pacific Mining Management up to the value indicated on the purchase order.  Any goods or services provided by a supplier before the receipt of a purchase order from CITIC Pacific Mining Management, or in excess of the value indicated on a purchase order, will be at the supplier’s own risk.

When CITIC Pacific Mining Management issues a purchase order to a supplier, it will state on the purchase order whether the purchase order has been issued under the terms and conditions of a contract between the supplier and CITIC Pacific Mining Management , or is subject to CITIC Pacific Mining Management Pty Ltd's Standard Terms and Conditions (2006).
