CITIC Pacific Mining (CPM) has entered into an initial one-year partnership with micro-finance provider Many Rivers Opportunities (MRO).
MRO provides small business development support and micro-finance to individuals wanting to develop their own business.
“Many Rivers has been working internationally for decades and has helped many people to start successful small businesses. We are really pleased that they are now operating in the West Pilbara,” said Jane McGuire, CPM Senior Corporate Affairs Advisor.
The partnership between CPM and MRO is part of the company’s Aboriginal business development program and will assist MRO to establish a presence in the communities in which CPM operates.
